Kath Lightbody started her career with Pimtrad Travel some 40 years ago in the days when you had a viewdata screen and you used the phone to get through to the Tour Operators and a gazetteer to obtain your information for hotels, flights, trains and cruises. I have always worked for an Independent Agency and have seen many changes over the years especially with the introduction of the internet.

I have a real passion for both travel and the customer service Border Global Travel strive to offer. Travel widens your horizons and awakens your curiosity and expands your knowledge.

I have been fortunate to travel extensively from Amsterdam to Australia and lots of places in between. There are still many more countries that I plan to explore. Uzbekistan is the most unusual place that I have visited to date and Sri Lanka my favourite.
